Publication status
The supplied UAIF-CLA-002 file contains normative references, limitations and consolidated amendment notes, but not the complete operative Individual CLA and Entity CLA clauses, representations, grants, signatures and execution terms. It must not be presented, accepted or signed as the Contributor Licence Agreement.
Intended purpose
The future approved CLA will govern contributions to UAIF specifications, schemas, software, documentation and related ecosystem material. It is expected to preserve contributor ownership while granting ODA3 the rights required to maintain and publish accepted contributions.
Required before publication
- complete ICLA and ECLA operative terms;
- defined copyright and patent grants;
- contributor representations, authority and third-party-rights protections;
- personal, confidential and regulated-data prohibitions;
- entity-authorized-personnel flow-down terms;
- governing law, notices, survival and termination provisions;
- complete execution and electronic-signature blocks;
- version, precedence and authoritative-document controls.
Current contribution boundary
No website submission or contribution should be represented as accepted under UAIF-CLA-002 until the complete approved agreement is published and the contributor affirmatively executes it.
