Sector risk context

Manufacturing AI directs physical machinery in shared human workspaces. Failures in safety-interlock logic, cobot proximity detection, AGV navigation, or process control can injure or kill workers and cause large-scale property and environmental damage. Worker safety is the dominant concern, followed by financial loss (downtime, recalls, liability) and property/environmental damage. OT/IT convergence widens the attack surface, making industrial-control integrity a leading vector.
