Sector risk context
Mining AI operates heavy autonomous equipment and monitors structures whose failure is catastrophic. Autonomous-haulage collisions, ground-stability misjudgement, ventilation failure, and — above all — tailings-dam monitoring failure can cause mass-casualty and irreversible environmental disasters. Worker safety and environmental integrity dominate, followed by operational continuity, property damage, and community wellbeing.
