Physical Containment Playbook
Objective
Provide predefined, tested procedures for physically containing an active incident, distinct from digital containment.
Control / requirement
Playbooks per system class with defined roles and physical isolation steps (e.g., actuator isolation, area securing).
Applicability
All physical AI systems with a plausible physical- consequence incident scenario.
Expected evidence
Playbook documentation; tabletop exercise records. [T2]
Assurance expectation
Evidence of tabletop exercises actually exercising the physical steps, not only reviewing the document.
Dependencies
PAI-SF-SAF-001 (safe-state as the first containment action).
Exclusions
Not applicable where physical containment is fully automated with no procedural/human step.
Maturity / conformance relevance
Expected at all conformance levels.
Ecosystem relationship
Extends AI-IRF™'s general response procedures with physical-AI-specific containment; PAI-SF™ does not duplicate AI-IRF™'s general incident management.
