Objective: Explicitly define the physical environment (geography, weather, lighting, human traffic patterns) the system is validated to operate within — as a description, not an authorization. Requirement: Documented environment specification.
Objective: Detect when actual operating conditions exceed the validated environment specification and respond appropriately. Requirement: Environmental sensing tied to defined thresholds, triggering alert or operational restriction when exceeded.
Objective: Ensure zones where humans may be present are explicitly designed and validated as part of the environment, not incidentally covered by kinematic limits alone. Requirement: Physical zone design (signage, barriers, sensor coverage) validated against actual human traffic patterns.
