Terms
Applicability
The documented determination of whether a requirement applies to the scoped organization, system or activity.
Control
A technical, organizational, human or governance measure intended to modify risk or achieve an assurance objective.
Evidence
Information used to support validation, findings or conclusions.
Incident
An event or condition meeting the applicable UAIF definition and classification criteria.
Notably absent
A discipline of documenting material events, impacts or failures evaluated but not observed.
Validation
The process of determining whether a control, field, schema or response capability meets its defined criteria.
